Tuffite quarry

The Tuffite Quarry Educational Trail passes through a part of the forest of the Low Jeseník in the immediate vicinity of the Slezská Harta waterworks.

The length of the trail from the starting point and back is about 5 km, for hikers about 2 hours and approximately 14 km, which is about 5 hours if you visit the natural monument Razová Tuffites and the Vápenná pec Rázová educational trail.

The trail starts on the Klimešová forest path in the area of its turning from the district road Dlouhá Stráň-Razová and continues marked with signposts along the route of the forest path to individual stops until the end of this road. From there, it is marked and continues along the left bank of the Slezská Harta river to the tuffite quarry, where the last stop is located. From this stop of the educational trail, it is possible to return to the starting point and end the trail or continue along the left edge of the woodland to the marked cycle path that leads the visitor to the village of Razová, where it is possible to visit the Razová Tuffites Natural Monument or continue along the Vápenná pec Razová educational trail, which starts by turning left onto No. 9 forest path from the local road below the village of Razová. The trail is easy, most of it runs along an asphalt forest road.
