Vaňkův Kopec Ski Resort

The mountains aren’t the only place where it’s at in the winter — Opava and Ostrava are full of action, too! When visiting these cities, why not liven up your trip with some skiing? How about evening skiing after all the museums have closed? Don’t worry about the equipment — you can rent everything on site.

The resort offers a red and blue-red slope, both of which are around 600 meters in length. If you are a snowboard enthusiast, then the snow park with its many obstacles is the place for you. Our youngest visitors will surely appreciate the kiddy corner with rope lifts and a ski merry-go-round. Are you new to skiing or snowboarding? Then our instructors will be happy to get you started!

You don’t even need a car to get here — public transportation stops a mere 600 meters away from the site!
