Vrch Javorový (Maple peak)

From Javorový Vrch in the Tešin Beskydy Mountains there are fabulous views of the Polish side of the mountains and Slovakia. If the visibility is good, you can see all the way to the High Tatra Mountains in the east and the Jeseniky Mountains to the west.

Tourists will find a great base for exploring Beskydy by bike or on foot. Maple peak is a favorite place for fans of paragliding, which visitors can learn here on a tandem flight. In winter, you can find one of the best ski resorts here and ski slopes as well as cross-country skiing trails. The tourist lodge on top of the mountain has been serving guests in the Těšínské Mountains since the late 19th century.
