Hrabětický les near Jeseník nad Odrou

The Hrabětický les nature reserve is part of the village of Jeseník nad Odrou. It is one of the largest forests in the Moravian Gate area, which was part of the Hranice estate.

Today, the Hrabětický les consists mainly of spruces and mixed deciduous trees and shrubs. The site is rich in rare flora.

Another interesting place in the vicinity of Jeseník nad Odrou is the nature reserve “Meanders of the Old Odra”. Jeseník nad Odrou is a very old village whose birth is connected with the Moravian colonisation in the 12th century and in the 14th century it became the property of the Lords of Kravaře.  Right in Jeseník nad Odrou, the tourist will find a chateau from the 18th century, which is privately owned and therefore inaccessible to the public.
