Suchá Dora Reserve

Between Jakubčovice and Spálov there is a reserve called Suchá Dora. It is an important locality which is part of the Oderské vrchy Nature Park.

Nature lovers can admire the flora and rare butterfly species here. Trees and shrubs provide safety for many species of birds, even the very rare black stork nests here.

The village of Jakubčovice is situated on the banks of the Odra River, above the village rises Beech Mountain and Chrastavec Hill, from which there are beautiful views of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains and the Oderské vrchy.
