Geological exposition in Karlova Studánka

You can also go to Karlova Studánka for entertainment and education. Students of geology, as well as visitors to the mountains, can educate themselves in the geological exposition in the upper part of the town.

It is dedicated to the geological development of the Jeseníky Mountains. Among the 340 exhibits is the Vidnava Wandering Stone, evidence of the journey of huge boulders from Sweden to northern Moravia during the Ice Age. Visitors can also see marble from Červenohorské sedlo or slate, which was mined in Nová Rudná.
