The Geological Exhibition in Karlova Studánka

Come to Karlova Studánka for fun and education. Geology students and tourists can learn a lot from the geological exhibition in the upper part of the town, which is dedicated to the geological evolution of the Jeseníky Mountains.

The 340 exhibits include an erratic boulder from Vidnava, which shows that giant boulders travelled from Sweden to Northern Moravia during the Ice Age. You can also see marble from the Červenohorské Saddle and slate once exploited in Nová Rudná.
